Professional Golf Instruction

ATTENTION ALL GOLFERS AND THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE BETTER GOLFERS.

My name is Matthew Lane. I’m a professional golfer, born in New Zealand who came to the USA 1986. I’m a resident of Agoura Hills married with two children and have decided to give something back to golf by coaching.

I attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the 1989 NCAA winning team. I turned professional in 1990 and began by playing the Australasian, Canadian and nationwide tours with moderate success however did win the 1998 New Zealand Open.

I was however plagued with eye problems (Two cornea transplants) which meant quite a bit of time off and also starting a family meant more time off hence getting back into golf became harder. I do believe that I have the ability to help anyone who has a desire to play this game as I have loved and studied this game over the years.

As much as the game demands a good golf swing there is also the mental approach which is equally important, and an area I can also help. As in life, the easier you find things the more enjoyable they become. It’s the same with golf; a few lessons can make a world of difference. What’s the point in spending quite a few dollars on clubs and membership and not learning how to get the best results? I feel certain that I can help you to get the best out of yourself and to get you to whatever level you would like to play.

Feel free to give me a ring at 818-581-5064 or my contact page and discuss your current ability and playing aspirations, or feel free to come by Lindero Country Club where I currently teach, and ask me a few questions.

Regards, Matthew Lane
